Kate (Brittany Snow) adalah gadis baru di sekolah. Dia menangkap John Tucker (Jesse Metcalfe) berpacaran tiga gadis yang berbeda sekaligus: Carrie - gadis cerdas, Heather - cheerleader, dan Beth - pelacur aktivis, tidak satupun dari mereka menyadari bahwa mereka tidak satu-satunya gadis dalam hati John. Kate, having been raised by a single mother, has seen the pain caused by playboys like John Tucker, and she won't stand idly by.
